It does however work in mode 2 and 3. I get the fault 121-06 low/hi retarder. I replaced solenoids, checked power, checked toggle switch. I am lost. I unplugged the connector to my toggle switch and still got the fault...please help!My Jake's has low medium and high setting. My middle jake brake won't turn on at all and high doesn't work to well I believe that's tied into the medium setting not working. I installed a new switch and put both jake brake solenoids. No, a Jacobs brake (compression brake) only opens one exhaust valve. If you look in the pic, the red circle shows the valve that releases compression when the brake is activated. AThe one in blue is the other exhaust valve and is only used during normal operation..
